What we collect, and why

Last updated September 30, 2026 · applies to all three ZO-GO apps

Beta draft. ZO-GO is in a closed beta. This page describes how the beta works today in plain language. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer yet and will change before launch.

The short version: we keep what we need to diagnose your rig, connect you with a tech and save your trips. We don't sell it, and we don't run advertising trackers.

What we keep

WhatWhy
Your email and passwordTo sign you in. The password is stored scrambled; nobody at ZO-GO can read it.
Your profile: skill level, tools, any physical limits you tell us aboutSo repair steps fit what you can safely do.
Your rig and tow vehicle: year, make, model, typeSo a diagnosis is about your rig, not rigs in general.
Your diagnosis conversations and the reports made from themTo walk you through a repair, and to brief a tech if you ask for one.
For techs: business name, your name, mobile number, home town, service area, what you work onTo send you only jobs you can take.
Trips you save in the trip planner: stops, dates, notes, photosSo you and the people you share the link with can see the trip.

Who can see what

Protomaps and OpenStreetMap servicesDraw the map, look up places and work out road routes.
Google FontsDelivers the typefaces.
Anthropic, Twilio, StripeThe AI assistant, text messages to techs, and payments. Not switched on in the beta yet; this page will be updated when they are.
